Revelers proceed to Silver Spring’s Ellsworth Plaza for a dance party at 9 p.m. Silver Spring Zombie Walk: All Zombie fans are invited to don your favorite undead costume and head to downtown Silver Spring for a parade that starts at the Quarry House Tavern at 7 p.m. For more information and to RSVP, click here. Pumpkin Rock N’ Roll: Families are invited to enjoy attractions including live musical performances, pumpkin derby race, food trucks, and a hay maze from noon to 4 p.m. Kids can also enjoy face painting, pumpkin decoration, games, and say hi to or pose for a photo with Monty, Montgomery College’s raptor mascot. There will be fun for all ages such as an art show, dancing, a coding demonstration, a DJ, ice cream, and a raffle. – 2 p.m., in the Mannakee Building at the Rockville Campus. Montgomery College Harvest Fest: Montgomery College hosts Harvest Fest, a free event for residents of all ages, Saturday, October 28 from 10 a.m. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here, Saturday, October 28 Tickets are $26 for adults and $23 for seniors and students. Recommended for ages 12 and older due to adult themes. Young Frankenstein: Rockville Musical Theatre’s Young Frankenstein show opens tonight at 8 p.m. For more information and to register, click here, then ‘Luminary Hikes’ to register for an appropriate hike. Montgomery Parks hosts eight hikes, the first starts at 5 p.m., the last starts at 8:30 p.m. Pumpkin Patch and Jack-O-Lantern Hikes: At the Locust Grove Nature Center, families are invited for a 1/2 hour evening hike, starting at 5 p.m. For more information and registration, click here. The event hosted by Montgomery Parks runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Skaters under the age of six should have a parent participate in the skating and craft. Activities include ice skating, trick or treating, a costume contest, and Halloween crafts.
